Jeanette's Bio
Hello everyone, my name is Jeanette Johnson. This is my fourth year at Phoenix College and third semester with the S-STEM program. I was born here in Phoenix and lived here all my life. I come from a big family where I am the third to youngest. I have five sisters and two brothers. With that many siblings, I get a whole bunch of nieces and nephews ranging from sixteen years old to six months old. So far my time with the S-STEM program has been a real learning experience; not only on a academic level but on a personal level too. The S-STEM program has taught me and continues to teach me new exciting things. The program has also put me in contact with wonderful new people from the staff/mentors to the S-STEM scholars themselves. In my free time, I love to watch movies and spend time with my friends and family. I am also a huge Harry Potter fan I collect anything that has to do with the movies or books. I am currently pursuing my associate in sciences degree here at Phoenix College and will be transferring to ASU where I want to get a bachelor’s degree in biology. Ultimately, I want to get a master’s degree in neuroscience. Well if you would like to know anything else, feel free to ask. I look forward to getting to know everyone over this coming semester.
